We sell in multiple ways - you can find the areas you enjoy most Most consultants start with home shows - they are informal, informative, and fun.  A hostess invites her friends and family to her home.  You, as the consultant, set up a display of great books, show features and benefits of some best sellers and favorites, and help guests find books their families will love.  The hostess earns a generous amount of free books and you earn 25% commission.  In addition to home shows, you can: • sell at booths and community events • run book fairs to benefit a private or public school, preschool, daycare, hospital, or homeschool group • help businesses, foundations, and charities improve community literacy through Literacy for a Lifetime, our grant matching program • sell on the web through your own online bookstore - developed and maintained by our home office staff • help schools and other groups encourage reading through Reach for the Stars, our reading challenge for kids • become an Educational consultant and sell to K-12 schools and libraries.
